“Bhaag D.K. Bose”, the song from Aamir Khan’s upcoming production Delhi Belly has already become a rage among the youth, never mind its whacky lyrics about sabun and zhaag. Now, those who didn’t pay much attention to the song’s title earlier are marvelling at the cleverness with which the lyricist has concealed a cuss word therein.
We hear that the song is inspired by Dolly Bindra who was very liberal at hurling profane expletives at the other contestants during her stint on Bigg Boss 4. One of her favourite cuss words, beeped out regularly, was “B**se DK”.
That inspired the creative team of Delhi Belly to come up with the title ‘D K Bose’, and music composer Ram Sampath set it to a killer grunge rock tune.
Well, the headbangers are already having a ball to the wackiest song of the season.
‘Mausam’ vs ‘Rockstar’ vs ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, this September
September 9 this year will be the day when industry’s three heartthrobs Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan will strike the chord together with Mausam, Rockstar and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan respectively. Shahid’s Mausam has been postponed to release on September 9. This will mean that a stiff competition between the three is also expected.
Says the producer of Mausam, Sheetal Talwar, “I am sure all three films are good. We find September 9 as the right date to release Mausam. Now let the best man and the best film win. Let the audience take the decision.”
But shedding light on the expected business of the three films, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh does not seem too happy with the three releases together. He says, “Even a Diwali weekend is not enough to accommodated three releases. And a non festive weekend by no means will be enough for three such big films which clashes three teen heartthrobs. The business of each film could get affected by almost 40 per cent.”
While Yash Raj Films is known to never postpone their films once they have fixed a release date, Taran Adarsh still hopes for a way out to avoid losses. He says, “I hope better sense prevails and they figure a way out of this. And it would be wrong to say that this clash will give us a clear winner among the three as none of the film will get enough time and space!” he adds.
Asin tags Salman as spontaneous, while, Aamir needs preparations…
Ready’s leading actress, Asin Thottumkal talks her heart out, comparing the perfectionist Aamir Khan with Bollywood’s heartthrob Salman Khan. According to her, Aamir prepares for his roles while Sallu is simply spontaneous.
“Salman is spontaneous. You have to be very alert while the camera is running because you don’t know what he will come up with and what you will have to do as an appropriate thing. There is not much of a discussion before the shot. So you have to be ready with whatever he throws at you during the shot,” Asin told.
“Whereas Aamir is somebody who will sit with you and the director before the camera starts rolling. He discusses with you various ways of doing it (scenes) and finally decides on one. So here you are sure of what is going to happen in front of the camera,” added the 25-year-old.
Asin also admits that she has never seen the bad side of Salman so far.
“I have never personally experienced anything wrong with Salman. Whatever I’ve come across is that he is somebody who is really pure from his heart, so whatever emotions come out, it’s just that,” said Asin who has now worked with Salman in two films – “London Dreams” and forthcoming release “Ready”.
“He is direct and straight. He doesn’t put on a face for different groups of people. When he is angry, he’ll show that and when he is not, he’ll show that too. So basically, I have not seen that very notorious side of Salman that the media keeps talking about,” she added.
Talking about “Ready”, which is releasing today, June 3, Asin said: “We started working on ‘Ready’ right after ‘London Dreams’; so it’s like back-to-back movies with Salman. The interaction I had with him during ‘London Dreams’ kind of helped me to have a comfortable relationship in ‘Ready’ because a rapport was already created.”
“I think even he is quite comfortable working with me because somewhere I get his sense of humour. He has a very straight-faced sense of humour, so we pretty much gel well with each other on the sets,” she added.
Asin and Salman’s chemistry in the film promos look so strong and real that, people have started seeing them as a couple
“Everyone knows that the rumours had no truth in them. These rumours started during ‘London Dreams’. However, I want to maintain that I am quite single and not in a relationship and that’s why I think rumours like these get accentuated more,” explained the actress, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in superhit film “Ghajini”.
Rajinikanth will be paid a whopping 24 crore for Rana
Superstar Rajnikanth is the highest paid actor in India.
Well, Buzz is in the air that Rajni sir has been paid a whopping amount of Rs 24 crore as a part of the first installment for Rana. The movie has him play a triple role. It also features Deepika Padukone in the lead. If the buzz id to be believed, Rajni’s daughter Soundarya will also have a share in the profits.
A source informed, “Rajini Sir is still India’s highest paid actor. Besides the reported 24 cr for ‘Rana,’ the family will also have a stake in the IPR because Rajini’s second daughter Soundarya is a partner in the project.”
April 29′ 2011, had the film go on floors but there hasn’t been much progress in the shoot because Rajinikanth fell ill on the very mahurat day. He is presently undergoing treatment at an elite hospital in Singapore.
“The superstar is fine. He will be out of hospital in a week or in 10 days. And, he will start shooting for Rana,” His son-in-law Dhanush clarified in a statement to media persons.
Salman wishes good for Shahrukh…
Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are undoubtedly Bollywood’s worst rivals, but they don’t seem to hold any grudge against each other.
Recently, in Delhi, during a promotional event, a reporter threw up at Salman Khan to comment about Shahrukh Khan’s superhero film Ra.One, Salman had only good things to say.
“I wish Shah Rukh all the best for Ra.one and hope it’s a hit,” Salman said.
If Salman would want SRK to watch hid film Ready, Salman said: “Asin and Bhushan Kumar will show it to him. Asin has worked with me and Aamir. She’s damn good in the film. So I’m sure she would want SRK to see the film and know what he’s missing out on.”
Ready is Salman’s second film with Asin after London Dreams. Salman Khan said the film is a family comedy.
“We have worked very hard on this film. I hope you guys enjoy it. It’s a family-comedy. The film revolves around three families,” Salman said.

Arunoday Singh to romance the blue-eyed beauty, Aishwarya Rai..
Madhur Bhandarkar has finally zeroed down on the lead actor opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Heroine. He is none other than the Yeh Saali Zindagi charmer Arunoday Singh. to romance the blue-eyed beauty.
According to a trusted source said, “Madhur wanted to finish the casting of his film Heroine since the film was announced at Cannes sometime back. However, after much thought, Arunoday Singh has been roped in for the film. There were speculations in the media that Abhishek Bachchan might be paired opposite Aishwarya. This is his biggest break till date after Yeh Saali Zindagi, Aisha and Sikandar.”
Arunoday will play a cricketer in the film.
The source further said, “The character is of an ace cricketer who is going around with this top actress. The whole casting is kept hush-hush and the inspiration is not disclosed. Now it would be interesting to know from which controversial jodi the drama is inspired, Azhar-Sangeeta, Amrita Singh-Ravi Shastri or Yuvraj-Deepika romance.”
Arunoday expressed his excitement on his big break opposite Ms Rai, “Yes I am doing the film and I am over the moon. I can’t speak anything about the character but it feels great to be acting opposite Aishwarya Rai.
But I would approach it as any other film. Having said that, Madhur is a wonderful director and I don’t need to say that.”
Arunoday further said, “I haven’t known Madhur and have met him only a couple of times. I have been a great fan of his films Chandni Bar and Page 3. I can only say that God has been kind to me.”
Dabangg 2, a continuation of Dabangg….
Dabangg 2 will be a continuation of Dabangg headlining Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, not a new story with the same characters, the film’s producer and director Arbaaz Khan says in a new video post.
Arbaaz says he has almost completed the first draft of the film but it will take him some more time to come up with a shooting script. Once he wraps scripting he will work on the music, sign the cast and start pre-production to take the film on floor by the beginning of next year.
Arbaaz is confident that Dabangg the sequel will be as exciting and bigger and better than the original.
Salman Khan who is currently filming Bodyguard will next shoot for Yash Raj Films’ Ek Tha Tiger and then work on Dabangg 2.
Why is Shahrukh depressed???
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is particular about every detail of his upcoming superhero flick “RA. One”, is depressed ever since the song “Wanna be my Chammak Challo” from the film, sung by American R&B singer Akon, has been leaked online.
“That was the earlier version of the song. It’s very unfortunate. I am very depressed by that, more depressed than any other news that I have heard. That was the trial version. The original version is with us and I have told everyone to take a little more care,” said Shah Rukh, who plays superhero G.One in the film.
“RA. One”, directed by Anubhav Sinha, features Kareena Kapoor, who plays female lead in the film, in the item number.
The saving grace is that the earlier version of the song has been leaked and the final version is still with him, said Shah Rukh.
“I think we have found out from which IP address it has been leaked. Once I get to catch that person I will cane him and make him keep singing the song (Laughs),” he said.
“The Internet Protocol(IP) address, from which the song has been leaked, could be identified and hopefully, would get hold of the person soon,” he added.
Shah Rukh will release the music of the film by August end and said that the original version of the song “Chammak Challo” would come out officially.
