In Bollywood, there is no place for permanent friends. Well, the latest we hear is that SRK and Duggu, who were thick friend till not very long ago, have turned foes now.
Reason:Shahrukh Khan did not invited Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne to his bash thrown in honor of Hollywood star Hugh Jackman at Mannat.
Buzz has it that, all Shahruk’s friends except the Roshans were invited to the party. All of them drove to Mannat immediately after the FICCI Farmes event.
This upset Hrithik tremendously, so much so that Shah Rukh and wife Gauri were conveniently left out of the guest list for a do hosted by the Roshans in association with a luxury brand, as reported.
Another relationship in Bollywood has gone kaput.

Deepika rejects directors film without even talking to her on phone…
Deepika Padukone’s year may be choc-a-bloc with films but she should at least hear out directors before slamming the door on them.
A few days ago, Deepika rejected Kalpana Lajmi’s film without once talking to her, forget reading the script.
Lajmi, the director of Rudaali (1993), whose last film Chingaari, starring Sushmita Sen hit the theatres in 2006, has been struggling for quite some time to put a project together.
A source says, “Lajmi called up Deepika’s secretary who told her in the first call that Deepika won’t do the film since she had no dates. Lajmi was willing to wait till Deepika had dates but was shocked at her secretary’s refusal.”
Two months after Lajmi spoke to Deepika’s secretary, the actress texted her saying that she can’t do her film, as she is not free until 2012. “The message was polite. But Lajmi is wondering why an actress would turn a film down even before speaking to the director,” adds the source.
When contacted, Lajmi said, “I was ready to wait till Deepika was free. It is sad that today’s heroines are busy only in image-building exercises. They forget that it is the medium of cinema and nothing else that makes them popular.”
Though the actress stayed out of this, her manager said, “We would love to work with a senior director like Lajmi but unfortunately, there are only 365 days in a year. We had committed our dates. Hence we decided to be upfront about it and not keep her hanging.”
Katrina gets back to shape…
While shooting for Tees Maar Khan, Katrina Kaif went from being voluptuous to size zero. Now that the movie is over and almost forgotten, the actress is piling on the pounds to maintain continuity for Yash Raj film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.
Kats has been asked to put on some more weight so her character in the upcoming film would look fuller. The result is visible as she doesn’t look skinny anymore.
A source reveals, “To lose weight for her role in Tees Maar Khan, Kaif literally stopped eating and was on a very strict all-broccoli diet. After the film’s release, she’s slowly resuming her regular diet of carbs and proteins.”
However, Katrina maintains she hasn’t had to change her eating habits. “I am not on any special diet. My weight has been the same since Tees Maar Khan.”
Jab We Met becomes TV soap titled Love U Zindagi…
Now this ones interesting!!! Imtiaz Ali’s super duper hit flick Jab We Met, will soon become a TV soap titled Love U Zindagi. The character of Geet that was essayed by Kareena Kapoor, will now be played by MTV Splitsvilla babe Pavitra Punia who became popular because of her glamorous look on small screen. The daily soap will be aired on Star Plus.

Anushka’s unprofessionalism drives ‘Patiala House’ filmmakers mad…
The band Baaja Baaraat actress, Anushka Sharma is apparently ignoring the promotions of Patiala House. Buzz is that, post the success of her latest film, Band Baaja Baaraat, Anushka Sharma is still busy promoting the flick, forgetting her upcoming project Patiala house, which also stars Akshay Kumar.
If sources are to be believed, Patiala House is slated for release on February 1, an yet the promotion dates hasn’t been fixed.
According to a source from the film, “The producer Bhushan Kumar and director Nikhil Advani have been trying to get Anushka’s dates, but she seems to be too busy with Band Baaja Baaraat.
Whenever the makers of Patiala House approached her for dates her manager told them that she would revert later. They can’t understand why she is dillydallying.
When a superstar like Akshay Kumar can find time to promote his film, why can’t Anushka? The makers are aghast with Anushka’s unprofessionalism.
They feel the success of Band Baaja Baaraat has gone to her head. She is still making the crew of Patiala House wait endlessly for her dates.”
Though the director and the producer has a different story to tell, Nikhil Advani says, “Akshay and Anushka both are very excited for the film to release.
We are trying to work out dates for promotions as they both want to promote the film well.”
Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-series says, “Akshay and Anushka got along very well during the shoot and I’m sure they are working out their dates for promotion. They both are professionals.”
We wonder whom to believe!!!

Imran Khan follows Sallu’s style and this has been confessed by the star himself. Salman Khan’s stardom is so extra ordinarily great that his style is imitated not just by his fans, but also by the young Bollywood brigade. Whatever Salman wears, becomes style and whatever he takes out, also becomes style. Salman’s style in Dabangg, where Salman hangs his goggles on the back of his shirt can never be forgotten. Abhi-Ash doesn’t want to give the audience too much of themselves…

Vipul Shah’s untittled film having Abhishek Bachchan as its lead star, doesn’t have a heroin and is supposed to go on floors by end of this year. Says a source, “Vipul spoke to Aishwarya about being cast opposite Abhishek. But she thinks she can’t add anything to the project. In fact, Aishwarya suggested that Vipul cast Katrina instead.
Vipul however denies having approached Aishwarya, “So far we haven’t really discussed the project.”
If buzz is to be believed, it is said that Abhishek and Aishwarya have come to a mutual decision that the duo will star together only if a project has something interesting, exciting and novel to do. Says the source, “They don’t want to give the audience too much of themselves.”
When will Salman and Shahruk patch up???
Right from Jan 1, 2011, Bollywood has been on a patch up spree… And the lavish Filmfare nominations bash has turned out to be the icing on the cake.
All the stars turned up in their finest designer outfits and were at their best behavior, bonding with the other effortlessly. Must say our Bollywood stars are great actors…
While SRK was seen hugging and greeting Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz Khan, Arjun Rampal was seen accompanying Shahrukh Khan.
Arbaaz Khan, besides giving SRK a warm hug, also exchanged warm pleasantries with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The survey was conducted in 7 Indian cities and the respondents including both men and women ranging from the age of 18-45 were asked the question – If you have to engage in casual sex, who would you prefer as a partner?
A condom brand reportedly carried the survey in 7 Indian cities and asked the question to the people of both genders: “If you have to engage in casual sex, who would you prefer as a partner?”
Most Men, as expected, voted for the sexy Katrina while the females went with Salman.
People voted for a variety of celebrities and public figures ranging from film-stars to politicians. In the male category, following Salman was Ranbir Kapoor, followed by Shahrukh Khan , M.s Dhoni and Hrithik Roshan. And in the female category, Katrina Kaif left behind her Aishwarya Rai, followed by Bipasha Basu, Sania Mirza and Deepika Padukone.
What was Shahid doing in Priyanka’s home early in the morning???
Priyanka Chopra was in news yesterday. IT officials who went to raid the actress’s Yari Road home were greeted by Shahid Kapoor who was wearing nothing but shorts. Expecting the sexy Chopra at the door, they were in for a shock on seeing Shahid greeting them instead. Shahid was equally shocked to see the I-T folks…
It was a highly secretive raid and no one came to know of it in advance.
Says a source, “Both, Shahid and Priyanka were quite shocked by the raid. Shahid could not leave immediately. So, he remained there for sometime.”
A source close to Shahid and Priyanka confirmed and said, “Yes, Shahid was present at Priyanka’s place when the IT raid happened. The IT officials came in around 7.30 am.”
Officials said many documents were seized from Chopra’s residence, which was created by merging five flats. 12 lockers were sealed and verification of documents continued till late in the evening. PC’s father, Capt Dr Ashok Chopra home was also raided.
Hrithik with a heart of gold!!! Sponsors heart surgeries for ten children…
Hrithik Roshan has sponsored the surgical operations of 10 children of the Seven Hills Medical Foundation (SHMF)’s paediatric programme in the Mumbai suburb of Andheri.
Dr Bhujang Pai, Head of Radiology SHMF, says, “We have started a Save A Heart programme as a public initiative. We do lots of free open-heart surgeries.
We thought of getting someone who is very fond of kids and who kids are fond of as the face of our programme.
I know Hrithik and his family. We are family friends. I asked his parents if we could get him involved in this programme in any way.”
Dr Pai continues, “Hrithik not only agreed to be the face of the SHMF scheme for children, but also donated R 15 lakh for the heart operation and post-operative care of 10 children who registered in the scheme.”
Says the doc, “Lakhs of children are born in India with heart defects.
Because of lack of proper infrastructure and financial assistance, most die before their first birthday. Nearly eight in every thousand children are born with a congenital heart defect.
Through this scheme, poor parents won’t have to run from pillar to post for their children’s medical treatment. We want to reach out to people in a big way and so Hrithik’s hoardings will be all over India.”The heart surgery of each baby costs a lakh and a half rupees and Hrithik donated the amount immediately so these operations could take place as soon as possible.
