Salman takes center stage with “Ready Live Mad Concert”…
Salman Khan is all set to take center stage at the ‘Ready Live Mad Concert’ on June 2, in Mumbai, just a day prior to the film’s worldwide release.
Sallu really knows to promote his films like no one else.
The main idea of the concert is to ratchet up the hype to a fever pitch ensuring a huge box-office opening for the film.
Joining Salman Khan, the film’s lead actress and Asin, composer Pritam, singers Tulsi Kumar and Neeraj Sridhar will also be performing.
An initiative with 3rd Rock Entertainment, Provogue India and Agni Jewels along with T-Series, the concert is a 3-hour music show, which will kick start at 6 pm at the Tulip Star Hotel, Juhu.
In a statement to the press, Salman said:
“It feels great when you have mass adulation. That is what keeps us actors alive. On stage, you sense this love and affection instantaneously. As an entertainer, I thoroughly enjoy the experience and want everyone to enjoy the same as well. I am looking forward to the concert”.
Katrina Kaif goes make-up free in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’…
Yes! You hear it right. Katrina Kaif will be stripped off make up in her upcoming flick, ‘Ek tha Tiger’. The movie has Salman Khan opp the pretty lass.
Her character is that of a girl-next-door who is a plain Jane n blends well in the crowd.
Reveals a source,“Katrina who has constantly played ultra-glamorous roles has been told by director Kabir Khan that she cannot use makeup at all for her character in Ek Tha Tiger. And no makeup means absolutely no makeup.
This means she can’t dab on some natural-coloured lipstick or touch up her face before every shot, like a lot of actresses do while playing de-glam roles. The brief to Katrina is, ‘Your only makeup would be face-wash before every shot,”
Kats has once already experienced the feel of going de-glam in Prakash Jha’s Rajneethi.

Aishwarya Rai slashes her fee for ‘Heroine’…
2011 is yet to see a money minter. It’s almost half of the year now, and the Bollywood industry hasn’t been too fruitful so far.
Buzz has it that the makers of ‘Heroine’ have taken a conscious decision to stick to a budget of Rs 18 crore. The film’s lead star, Aishwarya Rai has reportedly agreed to take a pay cut for her role in the same. Instead, she will get a share in the film’s profit.
Say’s a source, “Every actor including Aishwarya Rai, Arjun Rampal and even Madhur Bhandarkar himself have slashed their fee,”
“It’s a sensible business decision. Ash and Arjun will be sharing the profits of the film. They are confident of Heroine’s prospects at the box office,” he added.
UTV, the makers of Heroine, have a good work relationship with Bhandarkar, and so we guess there is no apprehension in taking a pay cut for a share in the profits.
Heroine is slated to go on floors on June 8.

This time, it is Kareena Kapoor who will be waxed the prestigious Madame Tussauds museum. She is the second Bollywood actress after Aishwarya Rai to have a wax statue there.
The decision was taken after the management was inundated with mails and letters from her fans asking for her figure at the museum.
Kareena, who is shooting for Reema Kagti’s film in Puducherry, will be going to the UK to meet the officials of Tussauds, after which a decision will be taken about the wax figure’s look.
She will be the second Bollywood actress after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Tussauds.
